In-person group class prices based on pre-payment of whole course (5+ students):
10 week courses 75 minutes £150 per course
10 week courses 60 minutes £125 per course (Conversational/ Holiday classes)
5 week block 75 minutes £100 per block
£10 discount off the above for Zoom courses.
*Special £50 discount on the second course for those individuals taking two courses of 75+ minutes in a single term*.
Private/ Semi-private lessons
(excl. Business, DELF/ DELE, A-level & Russian tutoring)
1. One-to-one lesson face-to-face: £40 per hour (at tutor's home); Away: £44 per hour (within 8 miles)
2 per group: £26/hr per person (add £4 per group if away)
3 per group: £22/hr per person (add £4 per group if away)
4+ per group: £18/hr per person (add £4 per group if away)
5% discount if block of 10 lessons are booked in a single term.
2. One-to-one Zoom lesson: £38 per hour pp
(2 per group: £24.50pp, 3 per group: £21pp, 4 per group £17pp)
Again, a 5% discount applies if a block of 10 lessons are booked in a single term.
Private/ Semi-private lessons
for all Business, DELF/ DELE preparation, A-level & Russian tutoring
One-to-one: £44 per hour (at tutor's home); Away: £48 per hour (within 8 miles)
2 per class: £30/hr per person (add £4 per group if away)
3 per class: £26/hr per person (add £4 per group if away)
4+ per class: £20/hr per person (add £4 per group if away)
DELF/ DELE consultation and advice session: £30 (45 mins)
5% discount if block of 10 lessons are booked in a single term.
2. One-to-one Zoom lesson: £42 per hour
(2 per group: £28.50pp, 3 per group: £24pp, 4 per group £19pp)
Again, a 5% discount applies if a block of 10 lessons are booked in a single term.
Terms & Conditions
1. Prices quoted are for those paying fees in advance or on the first day of the course. Early bird discounts may also be offer.
2. Courses require a minimum of 5 people to run.
3. A further £10 discount will be applied for students under 21, retirees in receipt of state pension and the unemployed (those on benefits) who sign up for a minimum of 10 lessons (taken in a single term) and pre-pay.*
4. A special Zoom discount applies for courses of 75+ minutes for everyone of £10 per course (already applied to course fee). NB. Private/ Semi-private lessons have their own fee structure.
5. Refunds are given up to 48 hours prior to the start of the course. Other refunds are looked at on a case-by-case basis.
6. Dual course discount: A £50 discount is applicable on the SECOND course for those taking more than one full-price 10-week course (75 minute lessons only) in a single term*.
7. Missed classes may be made up at another Lingualounge venue if the same or similar course is running elsewhere.
*Discounts do not apply when there are fewer than 5 people in a class. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/ discount except for any early bird promotions that are running. No discounts are available when the tutor is asked to come to your home. Please contact us to apply for this discount.
